Networking: Is it really worth it?

This time we will explain not only why, but how.

Networking – with all this talk of branding, selling yourself, etc. – can feel a bit like hanging off a street lamp shouting, “Hey, mister, got time?”

So why do we have to do this? And how do we make it work? We will be discussing the ins and outs of networking in the digital age on Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. PST, 11 a.m. MST, 1 p.m. EST.

We’re privileged to have networking strategist Erika Hanson Brown as our guest host for this live chat. Erika is an executive search consultant, people-coordinator and manager of LinkedIn’s “Top Recommended People.” She will be providing tips for presenting the real you in your network building, how to start and what to do with all your brand new connections. Of course, we will have all the usual live polls and viewer questions.

We hope you can join us. Click on the link below on Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. PST, 11 a.m. MST, 1 p.m. EST for a unique opportunity to learn the best practices for networking in the digital age.
